The Bridal Shower!

My brothers wedding is this weekend and I am so excited for him. It is nice to see him happy. A couple of weeks ago, Mel, my mom, and me gave Natalie a bridal shower. We had lots of fun planning it and also getting to know Natalie a little more. She is a fun gal and makes a perfect match for my brother. We made lots of yummy food for the shower and of course planned a few of those dumb shower games that nobody really likes to play. But we had some good laughs and a fun time.

My favorite game that we played was blind folding Natalie and telling her that the power went out in their hotel on their honeymoon and she had to get dressed for the "special night" in the dark. Then we gave Natalie a suitcase with some pretty crazy stuff in and she just had to feel and pick some things she wanted to wear. We loaded the suitcase with some of my mom's nightgowns (aka moo-moos), some underwear that said funny things on them, and then of course some super sexy stuff. Natalie was a good sport and we were all laughing so hard!!!

I am really excited for this weekend and I hope that their wedding turns out just like they want. I love my brother so much and have really missed having him in my life. I hope that this maybe can bring us one step closer to having him in our lives. I know my boys want to spend more time with uncle Ben and Natalie. It is great to finally get a sister-in-law!! :)

JAZZ TIME!!

Our neighbor gave us some Jazz tickets awhile back so we jumped at the chance to take the boys to a game. The boys were super excited to go! We got to sit up in a box which I was excited about because we got all-you-can eat nachos, popcorn and soda. The boys were actually pretty bummed when we got there because, as you can see from the picture, we were so high that we were above the jumbo-tron. Briggs kept throwing things on the people setting below, and Jaygen kept saying that he couldn't even see the ball! When Todd took the boys to a Jazz game earlier this season, they got to sit on row 13 in the lower bowl. I guess that is why you should never spoil your kids! :) Well, we still had a super fun time (especially me with all the food) and it was nice to have a little unexpected trip with the family!!

sOcCeR sEaSoN!

Soccer started last week...wahoo! My boys have been so excited. Jaygen and Pace get to be on the same team this year so it is going to be super fun watching them. This is Pace's first year being able to play and he couldn't hardly wait! Jaygen and Pace on their way to their first game with Briggs tagging along wishing he could play too! Jaygen is the oldest in the league and a lot bigger than most of the other boys and Pace is one of the smallest. Both boys do a great job! Jaygen is quick and has great control of the ball. He makes a few goals each game. Pace is pretty aggressive for being such a little guy. He has made a couple goals too. I couldn't quit laughing the last time he made a goal because you couldn't have wiped the huge smile off his face. He was so proud!! Briggs kicks his own ball around during the game.
Jaygen and Pace are on the green team. They love being dressed in all their soccer gear. Both boys usually wear their soccer clothes all day on game days because they are so excited. They are having a good time together and I love watching how they cheer for each other...they are good brothers!!
