SiX mOnThS oLd!

Our little Briggs is 6 months old...already!! :) He has been such a joy in our family. I think Briggs' favorite person is Jaygen. He always laughs and goes crazy when Jaygen is around. Briggs hasn't been to crazy about cereal (I can't blame him) but totally loves squash and applesauce. Briggs is always smiling and laughing so feeding him is quite the ordeal. He always starts laughing right when you put the spoon in his mouth so the food comes flying back out at you...what fun!! He has mastered rolling over and hasn't stayed put since. As soon as you put him down he flips over...and over...and over until he is clear across the room. He is starting to sit up a little and also does this great skoot to reach something he wants. He will push off with his feet but keeps his head down so his head skids across the floor...what ever works! Briggs' hair has lightened up (darn it) but he still has his big brown eyes. He is a cute, chubby guy and seems to always just go with the flow. He is a great baby and we love him lots!!

Sitting up...for a second!

Jaygen's Big Graduation!

This last week we had a little graduation program for Jaygen's preschool. It was really cute!! All the kids said their names and then spelled them and then sang some cute songs. We had a little dinner afterward that was yummy.

Jaygen spelling his name

Kate, Jaygen, Jared, Drew, Gage

Jaygen swayed his hips to all the songs...I am not sure if he was feeling the beat or had to use the bathroom!!

I know Jaygen is going to miss being with his "school friends" as he calls them. He always loved going to "school"! Thanks to all the moms that did the preschool! You were all great and I appreciate your time you put into it! :)

ON YOUR MARK...GET SET...

GO!!!! Pace has been totally into running ever since my race. I can't even count how many laps he has made around the house. He stretches like he has seen me stretch, and then I hear him say, "Set, Go!" and takes off around and around the house. It is so cute!!! Love ya Pacer!! :)

Ogden Marathon Relay

What a weekend?!!! Thanks to Todd for watching the boys, I was able to head out with the girls for some fun! The Ogden Marathon Relay was the best excuse to get away! We ate good food and laughed, then ate more good food and laughed some more. We even squeezed in some shopping. I almost forgot that we were running a race the next day! :)

The Cheesecake Factory....YUM!!!

Our hotel experience was unforgettable and a little...actually a lot scary! Sleep must be totally overrated because after going to bed after midnight and waking up at 4:30 a.m. we were all bright-eyed and ready to run...well probably just anxious and nervous. Everyone did an awesome job and the run was a really pretty one.
TEAM EDWARD!

"TEAM EDWARD" and "SO NOT TEAM EDWARD"!

I know I need to do a little more training before my next race but this was a great experience and LOTS of fun. Hopefully we can make this an annual event! I had a great time running, but even more, I enjoyed watching all the other people that were running. It was so motivating and humbling to see all the different disabilities and challenges that people have, but still set a goal for themselves to finish a race and they were accomplishing it!

I came home to a "Welcome Home" sign on the door and open arms from all my boys! I know they had lots of boy fun while I was gone!

Bull Riders Only!!

The boys wanted to have a picnic at the park for dinner tonight, so we packed a sandwich and headed out. I was glad that I had my camera in my bag because they were playing so cute! They were using the barrels as their bulls and had a rodeo going. The mighty bull-riders had lots of fun! Simple moments like this are what makes life so great!! :)

JUMPIN JACKS

Last week we got together with some friends and went to JUMPIN JACKS so the kids could play and have fun. We stopped and picked up cousin Braylee on the way. Driving up Jaygen said, "I can't wait this long to get there!" He was excited!! All the kids had a great time!! By the time we left, they were pretty worn out and I was too. It is hard work climbing up those blow up slides!!!! :)Jaygen, Pace, Braylee
