Brotherly Love!

I went to check on Jaygen and Pace before I went to bed last night and found Pace fast asleep in bed with Jaygen. I don't know if Pace might have been scared or just wanted to sleep with Jaygen but I think it was really precious! Pace loves his older brother and follows him everywhere. They have become really good friends!

SnOw FuN!

We decided to head up the canyon and enjoy the snow before it is all gone. We hooked the sled up to the 4-wheeler and Todd pulled Jaygen and Pace. Pace lasted about one time around and then wanted out and on the 4-wheeler with Todd. But Jaygen had a great time in the sled until he was frozen solid! Briggs decided he wanted to eat so he and I missed out on the action but got to take pictures from inside the truck. It was a lot warmer in there too! :)

Our Annual Arizona Trip

We had our annual Quartzsite, Arizona trip over New Years. It was so much fun to say the least! If we didn't have to make the 10+ hour trip in the car with kids it would be even better (they were actually really good)!:) We had the warmest weather and loved just soaking up the sun. We went for LOTS of jeep and 4-wheeler rides, looked for rocks, climbed in the hills, caught lizards, played in the sand, watched for coyotes, went target shooting, and of course sat in the sun and drank a pepsi! Basically we were "desert rats" for a week and loved every minute of it!!!

We had so much fun we could have stayed forever! But I guess all good things must come to an end - so until next year!!!

Briggs Blessing Day (Weekend)!

We had a fun and busy weekend! We decided to cram a baby blessing and a Christmas party all in one weekend. All of Todd's family came down for the Mullen family Christmas party on Saturday. Before we had dinner and exchanged presents, we played the "Amazing Race". It was pretty intense at times, but was LOTS of fun! We had a lot of laughs! Todd's brother Kevin and his family ended up heading home that night and couldn't stay for Brigg's blessing because Lillian (his little girl) got sick. We sure missed them and wished they could have stayed. Todd said it wasn't the same without his brother Kevin.

My family also came on Sunday to be here for Brigg's blessing. It was nice to have so much family here on Brigg's special day! Todd gave Briggs a really nice blessing. Todd is an amazing husband and dad. He is always in tune with the spirit and I am so thankful that he has the priesthood and honors it. He is a great example to all three of my boys - -I still can't believe I have three boys!!! :)We didn't get the best pictures because of all the commotion but Briggs looked handsome! He is a cute little guy and we are sure loving him in our family. Briggs I love you so much and you have a special place in my heart. I am honored and lucky to be your mom!!!!

We of course had to get the Mullen grandkid's tradition picture that we get at all the baby blessings. It is a big enough chore getting all the kids together, let alone getting them to smile. You can tell they have lots of fun together! We missed cousins Lillian and Isabell in the picture.

We had a great weekend. And thanks to everyone for helping with all the meals. I couldn't have done it without your help!

Christmas!

Todd ended up sleeping with Pace on the floor in the boys bedroom the last part of the night because Pace wasn't wanting to sleep. Todd said that when Jaygen woke up and found the orange that Santa left on his bed Jaygen started jumping up and down on his bed saying "Santa came, Santa came!". He was so excited. Then Pace found his orange and was actually excited for "Ho Ho" too!
Jaygen and Pace both got a GeoTrax train from Santa for their main gift. They were excited and didn't even want to open any other presents because they were having to much fun driving their trains!Pace was so excited to give Briggs his present. Pace (our little cowboy) wanted to give Briggs his first pair of cowboy boots! The boys ended up with a "big pile" (even though we say every year that they won't). We had a fun Christmas morning and enjoyed being with each other! Then we headed up to my sisters in Spanish Fork for Christmas dinner. Grandma and Grandpa Marshall were there too. We had a yummy dinner and of course opened more presents. Then the kids headed outside to build a snowman with grandpa, uncle Josh, and Todd.
Briggs missed out on most of the action but next year I am sure he will be right in the middle of it all. We had a great Christmas!!
