Family...Fun...Golf!

Every year Todd plays in the Utah Open and me and the kids tag along for a fun family vacation. Just like always, we had tons of fun!! I went all out this year and booked a suite for me and the boys to hang out in for four days while Todd was golfing. They had lots of fun just swimming and playing (things like restaurant and house...but don't tell Todd) in our hotel and probably would have been happy if we never left the room, but we had to of course go to Lagoon while we were up there.

Lagoon was lots of fun but holy cow...TONS of people! We couldn't believe how crowded it was! While we were driving there, Jaygen kept talking about the ride in the sky that he wanted to go on first. Come to find out it was the sky ride that takes you from one end of the park to the other. Todd and I just looked at each other and laughed...knock yourself out Jaygen! :) Todd was thrilled he got to ride it with Jaygen and Pace after it took an hour! After that we headed to the kid rides and Jaygen and Pace rode them all and we went on the little train ride. We all had a great time!

Briggs just hangin' out! :)

Todd played really well at the Utah Open. I thought for sure he was going to make the cut this year but as it turns out, he missed the cut by ONE...one! It would have been easier to find out he missed it by ten. Todd was so bummed! He went over every single shot he made thinking what he could have done different. Me and the boys went to the course to watch him finish his last hole, and the boys were so excited for him they ran up and gave him a big hug. They thought their dad was soooo awesome!!! I am really proud of Todd too...he did a great job!

Pictures like this are priceless to me because it is two of Todd's greatest loves...his boys and golf! :)

Jaygen's First Day of School!

Okay, it is only preschool but it is at the "big school" as Jaygen calls it and he has been waiting forever to go! He has been excited for everything to do with school. He picked out a awesome batman backpack which is what he was probably the most excited about! He is pretty mad that he doesn't get to ride a bus, but I think he will get over that pretty quick. Jaygen had a great day and said that his favorite thing he did at school was ride the little bike (Mrs Edwards must have one in her classroom). He wants to go back so that is a good sign! :)

I thought that I might be a little emotional when I took Jaygen to school but I wasn't at all. I was wishing that I could leave one of my other boys too! :) Everyone tells me to enjoy it now because before I know it they will all be grown up and gone. I know that is true, so I should just saver the moments!

Last week we had a trip planned to Cherry Hill with some of Todd's family. Poor Briggs had been sooooo sick for a few days so I kept him home and Todd took Jaygen and Pace up so they could have fun with their cousins. They had a great time! Todd said they just played and played in the water, especially Pace who jumps in whether there is anyone there to catch him or not! :) Todd took a few pictures of the boys having fun. I was said I missed out but it was a great "boys" day for them!

Look Mom!!

The other day while I was outside mowing the lawn, Jaygen and Pace were in the garage playing and I could tell they had something pretty serious going on in there. After awhile Pace came running up to me saying, "Mom come see, mom come see!" I went to see what the little rascals had done now and when I saw, I died laughing! Jaygen had got Todd's tools out (which he knows he is not suppose to play with) and took his training wheels off his bike all by himself. I couldn't believe it. I asked Jaygen how he got them off and he said "With dad's wrench". When he said it, it sounded like, duh mom! Oh you never know what Jaygen is going to do next. He was obvisouly pretty anxious to get his training wheels off but now he is not so excited about it. I think it will be awhile before he takes off with no training wheels. What a fun kid! :)
