The other day Jaygen asked if he could do a puppet show for Briggs. He got some puppets out and made a stage. Briggs loved it...he laughed and laughed. All of Jaygen's stories started with "Once upon a time" and were all stories about different animals going on a walk. It was so cute I had to take a picture. Jaygen is a great big brother. I was surprised Briggs lasted through quite a few stories, but then he just wanted to chew on the puppets!

Every kid needs a Hero...
I am so glad you are mine! That is what the father's day card said that Jaygen picked out for Todd for father's day and I think it was perfect. Todd is a fantastic dad and I know he is our boys hero in every way!! Thanks Todd for all you do for us! Happy Father's Day!!
I thought I had this great idea to dress my boys in Todd's clothes and take their picture to frame and give Todd but...well...it didn't turn out like I hoped. We first went to the golf course to take the picture and that didn't work, so we came home and this is the best I got. The boys still look cute though!

Summer Games 10K Run
I did it...my first 10K!!!! I was sooo nervous the night before and right before the race, but I did it. I had set a goal for how fast I wanted to run it and I beat my goal by about 5 1/2 minutes. I was so happy I just started to cry! It was a pretty and fun run down Cedar Canyon and there at the finish line was my dad, Todd, and my boys cheering for me. Thanks for supporting me! As crazy as it sounds, I can't wait for my next race! :)

Rock Creek Ranch
Yea...our first camping trip of the year! This last weekend was my dad's family reunion (Marshall Reunion) and it was at Rock Creek Ranch. I don't see my family from that side very often so it was nice to visit with them and catch up on things. We all keep having kids so there is a whole bunch of us now...just that much more fun!
The scenery was beautiful!!! Our camp was right below the dam and it was so full that the water was spilling over. It looked so pretty! Jaygen and Pace loved playing with all the kids. They played ball, rode bikes, went for wagon rides, played in the dirt, played horseshoes, and had lots of fun! Todd took Jaygen and Pace fishing one afternoon but Pace fell asleep driving to the pond so he missed out on most of the fishing. Well, not really because they didn't catch any! :) Jaygen and Todd still had fun though. Jaygen said his favorite thing was sitting by the campfire, so I wish I would have taken a picture of him. Each night he would say "I never want to go to bed." Pace said his favorite thing was playing with the tractors in the dirt.
Briggs was the best baby camping! He just hung out and enjoyed being outside even though he always had to be bundled up. We had to wear warm clothes the whole time because the weather was cold but besides that it was a great trip. Thanks to my Aunt Val and her family for all the yummy food and the fun time!!!
