HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODD!!

I have a hard time even saying this, so I can imagine how Todd must feel...he turned 35 on Friday. Sorry Todd, gone are the good ole' days of being 30. You now have to round up to 40!! :) To celebrate we just stayed home and had a good dinner and birthday cake. Todd asked for a chocolate cake so I made a triple chocolate cake with raspberries...it was really yummy! We gave Todd the Wii for his birthday and we haven't been able to stop playing it since! We are having to much fun! Happy birthday Todd....we sure love you!!!!

EaStEr WeEkEnD!

We had a great Easter weekend!! On Friday we headed up to Cache Valley to spend some time with Todd's family and had a way fun time! Thanks Candace for the fun shopping trip, and Lynn and Melissa and Kevin and Candace for the night out on the town. Then Saturday we went to Pocatello for cousin Spencer's baptism. It was really neat! We had been talking to Jaygen and Pace about baptism so they would really understand it, but no such luck. Pace thought it was cool Spencer got to "swim" in the water and would have jumped in with him. Jaygen says he for sure doesn't want to get baptized because he doesn't want to put his head under the water! I guess we need to do a little more talking about what baptism is! :) After the baptism, we had a yummy lunch and then some Easter egg hunts. The kids had lots of fun finding all their eggs and treats!! Then Kris put together a hunt for the adults. That was lots of fun too! Thanks everyone!!

Briggs couldn't take the fun any longer and fell asleep!

We came home for Sunday so the Easter Bunny wouldn't miss the boys. Easter morning Pace came in our room with a huge smile on his face and carrying Easter eggs. He had been in the living room finding the eggs that the Easter Bunny had hid. He was so proud of himself. Todd had to go hide a couple again so that Jaygen could find some when he woke up!! :) The Easter Bunny hid their baskets in some good spots again. This year Jaygen found his in the laundry room behind the door, Pace's was in Briggs' bouncer, and Briggs' was under the kitchen table. We had a great weekend!!!

Easter Eggs!

Even though it is a little early, I thought it would be fun for the boys to decorate Easter eggs during conference to keep them entertained. I didn't know it would require quite so much supervision though. Pace was loving it and going crazy with all the coloring...but what else should I have expected!? He was wanting to put every egg in every color! :) Jaygen wanted to write a "J" on all the eggs. Jaygen also wanted a Batman egg so Todd helped him make one. It turned out really cute! During all this excitement Todd and I didn't get to hear much conference, but the boys sure had a good time!!!

No Cows Allowed!

Jaygen LOVES going to storytime at the library and loves Deb (the librarian) . Well, Deb read a book called "Cow Licks" and it has become famous in my house. Jaygen and Pace both get such a kick out of their "cow licks" when they wake up in the morning. Pace usually goes in the bathroom a couple times each morning to wet his hair and try to smooth his down. One day Jaygen got an idea that we should make a sign that says "No Cows Allowed" and hang it on their door so the cows would stop licking their hair when they sleep. So Jagyen drew a picture of a cow and even colored it with glitter. We hung it on their bedroom door... but sure enough the next morning they both had "cow licks". Sorry Jaygen, I guess nothing will keep the cows out!
