Okay.... so you would think I ran a marathon by how excited I was, but I have never been a runner!! I didn't even have to be hauled away in the ambulance! :) It was fun to run it with friends and I am sure that is what kept me going. I even got to bring home a 2nd place certificate for my age group! Jaygen and Pace were excited for me too and had been asking for a couple of days when I was racing. That night after the race when I was putting Jaygen to bed he said, "But mom, you were suppose to win!" Little does he know it took all I had to run it as fast as I did! I would have liked to have had flashing lights and balloons and confetti or something at the finish line for me, but I guess just having my four boys waiting was enough! :) I have been having fun running and can't wait until my next race!

I was blog stalking and found your blog! You girls have inspired me to start running.. I went on Saturday for the first time.. oh man it was hard! How long did you train before you were able to run the 5k?
