"BIKER DUDE"

No, he is not potty trained yet, but he is now riding his bike...yea!!! Briggs kinda likes to do things at his own pace whenever he is ready. All summer long we tried teaching him to ride his bike so he could tag along with his brothers but he never really wanted to try. He would rather just run down the middle of the street instead. I even told Jaygen and Pace I would pay them $ 20 if they could get Briggs to ride his bike. Nothing helped!!! Well, the other day I was cleaning out my garage and there sat Briggs' bike. I thought why not try one more time before winter comes and it is too cold to ride. What do you know...he climbed on and took off?! I guess he decided he was ready! Briggs hasn't wanted to get off since and it is so fun watching him ride with the other boys. Good job Briggs...you are a cool "biker dude"!!!

I am keeping my fingers crossed that he will finally decide he wants to be potty trained now...but I won't hold my breath!!! :)

The Hunt!!!

Well, we wish that we were deer hunting but since we didn't draw out this year, I guess the next best thing is duck hunting!!! :) We took the boys out west to a good spot for them and Todd shot us a duck. When Todd shot, there were more than a hundred ducks that flew off the water but some how he only got ONE...ha ha!!! I couldn't shoot because I didn't have my duck stamp but I am sure I could have landed more!!! :) Once the ducks flew off, we never had anymore come into our decoys. Oh well, the boys were tickled pink with the one we got. They helped Todd clean it when we got home and had fun with that. Then Jaygen and Pace both wanted to keep one of its feet, so Todd cut them off for them. They bathed with them that night and then slept with them...gross! They love it so whatever!! We had a super fun time together and I think my boys look so cute in their camo!!! We need to head out again to see if we can't shoot more than one bird!!! :)

Feel the THUNDER!!!

My boys are totally all about football right now. They are always wanting to watch it and play it...well Brigg's is their cheerleader, but anyway they are loving football season. Well, Jaygen's teacher's son plays for the SUU Thunderbirds and so she is always talking about him in class and has pictures of him hanging up in their classroom. Jaygen thinks it is so awesome and always talks about him. He kept telling us how bad he wanted to go watch him play and one day he even came home with a little scrap piece of paper in his pocket with her son's number on it so we would know for sure which player he was. So, how could we not take him down to a game?!

Briggs decided he wanted to stay at grandmas and play and we took grandpa with us to the game. It was so fun!!! Jaygen and Pace both wanted a T-bird shirt and the boys got some little SUU megaphones to yell through. We looked like the #1 fans!! Grandpa kinda took over one of the megaphones and was totally cheering like crazy. I almost had to take it away from him!! :) Grandpa Marshall, Jaygen, Pace, Todd

Well, the T-birds didn't win but it was a good game. We had the best time...my boys loved it! We were totally feeling the THUNDER! :) Jaygen and Pace both know what position they want to play when they play for the Thunderbirds! I told them I will be their #1 fan! :) We took Briggs a shirt home too so he didn't feel left out...yes a t-shirt, not a cheerleading outfit!!!!
